Slow Birding: Connecting with Nature
Naturalist Melinda Nakagawa takes you outdoors
for an experience that will stimulate your sense of
wonder while creating a deeper connection between
yourself and the natural world. You’ll learn practical
tips on how to find and view birds, as well as receive
an introduction to bird language in a friendly, relaxed
and inclusive course.
The offering includes a single
indoor lecture at Ryan Ranch, followed by three
nature walks. Outdoors, participants will be divided
into two groups to ensure small group sizes.
Registration is through CSUMB OLLI here
