This month- Let’s play with bugs, butterflies and beetles!
This is not just about drawing them, but paying attention to the details, sketching them with ease and simplicity, and using words to describe what we see and tap into wonder and discovery.
I’ll introduce ways to capture your encounter with bugs in your nature journal. Its not about drawing pretty pictures- but focusing on the bugs infront of us. Finding wonder, and joy in the tiniest of creatures!
We’ll practice ways to easily sketch, and using words in various ways to enrich our nature experience.
We’ll look at
- simple body plans
- Indoor bug journaling ideas
- Outdoor bug journaling ideas
- how to draw and write about them in your nature journal
- Tips on sketching them with ease
- Ideas for how to layout your page
- Live practice together
- Solo time to journal
When
Start at 9:30 am- end at 11:00am Pacific Time. Schedule:
- Start with an introduction of the topic
- Have time for sharing of ideas,
- We log off the computer to nature journal outside in our own nearby nature,
- Return to Zoom for sharing our discoveries and journal pages. ***This is THE BEST part- not to miss!!
