1-2-3 More Numbers in Nature!

September 6, 2020 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm PDT

What we’ll be doing:

Don’t worry- we are NOT doing math, at least not at first!

Numbers are not just used to math class. If we take a closer look, we will find numbers hiding everywhere. Finding more numbers in nature!

    • How many spines, leaves, spots?
    • What temperature or time?
    • How long or wide?
    • What percentage of each color, shape or size?
    • What direction did it go?
    • How fast did it travel?

Let’s apply some new number strategies in our nature journal to deepen our nature awareness.

When

Start at 9:30 am- end at 12 noon Pacific Daylight. Schedule:

  • Start with an introduction and demo of a topic
  • We log off the computer to nature journal outside in our own nearby nature,
  • Return to Zoom for sharing our discoveries and journal pages. ***
  • ***This is THE BEST part- we all learn from collective pages of the group- this portion will not be recorded and you must see this live.
