Bookbinding your own nature journal- (private)

Melinda is leading a workshop to make your own handbound nature journal!!
This will be open to a small private group-  (email Melinda  to see if there is any more room, or if you want to book your own gathering)
What: Make a 120-page 7inchx10inch, coptic bound sketchbook with french link stitching.
Date: Sunday May 22, 12pm -4pm
Location: Private residence, Castroville Ca
Cost $125
Includes: All materials, tools and instruction. This includes everything you need! All materials will be provided, and you will keep the bookbinding tools for your next project.
We will make a book from start to finish, with Coptic binding with French Link stitch!
After I started making my own journals, I don’t need to buy any in the store anymore. Later you can use different paper from printer paper to watercolor paper- any size or thickness.
You’ll learn HOW to make it so that you can modify it anyway you like!

 

We will be making the larger book in the left rear, and will over with mulberry decorative paper. (the ones in from are make with standard printer paper and covered with scrapbook paper (blue) and ecoprinted paper (yellow).

Final size will be 7inch x 10 inch x 1 inch (light blue one)

These books open flat for great 2-page spreads.
